ake Action to Reduce Likelihood of War with Iran
In recent days, the Trump administration has taken steps that greatly increase the chance of war with Iran. National Security Advisor John Bolton has long wanted to topple the Iranian government, and appears especially excited to provoke a military conflict. Thankfully, H.R. 2354 has been introduced in the House, and would require Trump to seek Congressional approval before attacking Iran.
Please call your House Rep’s office TODAY to encourage them to sign on as a co-sponsor to H.R. 2354! Tell them to protect the troops from fighting in another disastrous and unnecessary Middle East war.
Here is an easy script to use: My name is XX and I’m calling from XX to ask Rep. XX to cosponsor HR 2354, which would require Trump to seek Congressional authorization before attacking Iran.
Call: 1-844-ACT-NIAC
You will be directed to the Capitol switchboard. Then just tell them your Representative’s name. NM Representatives are: Ben Ray Lujan, Xochitl Torres Small, and Debra A. Haaland.
